John Hurst AU two of my uncles were killed in the first world war, Andrew Gemmell Carmichael and Gilbert Carmichael. However, my information about their regiments is hazy as it happened a long time ago. I believe Andrew was a 2nd lieutenant in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. I am not sure of Gilbert's regiment though I know he was born in Lesmahagow, Glasgow. Their parents were Thomas and Jane Carmichael. Can you assist with further information. Thank you, John Thomas Carmichael Hurst
