William Munro 730 Seaforth Highlanders died at Beaumont Hamel buried Mailly Wood Cemetery; John Alexander Munro 10537 KOSB buried at Feuchy Chapel British Cemetery; William George Mackay 15378 buried at Duhallow Advanced Dressing Station, Ypres. All 3 commemorated on the Golspie War Memorial, Sutherland, Scotland. Also remembering William and John Alexander's brother, Archibald Munro Canadian Expetionary Forces who died in Chicago in 1930, it is thought, as a result of being gassed in the war.
