H MacGillivray UK I met an old man on friday his name was Fred he landed on the beach in WWII,he told me 75 men in his company hit a mine all were killed.My father was in north africa in WWII my great grandfather John Booth served as petty officer during WWII my grandfather Herbert Jackson macgillivray served in France and Germany My great grandfather Colin Macgillivray died in 1915 his name is on the let tourret memorial in France.I am Herbert Jackson Macgillivray Booth proud and glad to be still British thanks to the brave men who gave so much to let me have this freedom i call Home.
